New Apple CEO speculated to make Apple Music FREE for iPhone Users
Solanos, September 1, 2026- News from Apple has just been released! The new CEO was named as John Ternus, who succeeds Tim Cook. Tim Cook served as the CEO of Apple from 2011 until September 1, 2026. Cook has been the leader of Apple during its explosion as a technological superpower. Cook announced on August 31, 2026, that he would be stepping down as CEO and handing off his position to someone else. This long-anticipated transition of power was met with grace and ease. John Ternus, the new CEO, began with the company since 2001 as part of the design team and he became part of the board of directors in 2021. Ternus has been described as “charismatic and well-liked” by his Apple peers in previous interviews, and was, at one point, the youngest member of the board of directors. Now, Ternus faces the challenge of being the captain of one of the few trillion-dollar companies on Earth, especially during September— Apple’s historic annual iPhone release month. Some may see it as a challenge, but it is for sure an opportunity many wish they could have.

Rumors have already begun to spread as to what exactly Ternus plans to do. Some are rumors, some are wishful thinking. The point is that people are speculating and have expectations of this man. Some include the free use of Apple Music for all iPhone owners, something people with no knowledge of economics have been requesting for years. Some have been speculating the return of the audio jack, a decision secretly made to promote the new Airpods at the time. Some of the employees work for Apple are requesting the addition of more parking in their revolutionary Cupertino headquarters. Employees state the maximum parking capacity is 11,000, for a facility that houses 14,000 employees during normal business hours. Surely all of this cannot be made accountable to one individual person, but the CEO of one of the most recognizable companies on the planet definitely has power.
We will continue to watch Ternus as he leads the company into their September event, where the next iPhone will be announced, as well as a speculated foldable iPhone? Perhaps Tim Cook jumped ship at the right time…. If the foldable iPhone or the iPhone 18 is a total flop, would it be too soon to blame Ternus? Who knows, but people online certainly will. And if it were to succeed, perhaps he will also receive the praise. Given his long-standing presence on the company, it is without a doubt that he has had a say in the releases to come.
